Non-ExemptSummary of the RoleSeeking an experienced Conveyor Belting Technician who in is mechanically inclined. Performs splices and installation on various types of conveyor belts and components to meet customer and industry requirements. Performs other field service and warehouse tasks, as trained and required. Reports to Field Service Supervisor or Manager.

Responsibilities

• Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
• Works closely with Field Service Supervisors and team members in attaining goals and objectives
• Good understanding of overall Quality process and documentation
• Communicate general and quality-related concerns to management
• Provide onsite customer service
• Perform conveyor belt installation with mechanical or vulcanized splice
• Understands tools and machinery applicable to the job
• Travel is a required part of jobSkills and Abilities
• Must be able to work overtime hours, evening and weekends, when required
• Must be able travel to out-of-town jobs, as needed
• Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner
• Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools
• Basic computer skills including; internet and email
• Must be able to apply OSHA standards applicable and MSHA standards as applicable (training will be provided):::::::::
