Job Description
Field Service Technician Quality Staffing Ball Ground, GA 30107 Goddard Mason Executive Search is seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Technician to support our client, a global leader in processing equipment. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for candidates with mechanical and electrical expertise and a background in industrial or equipment service. This is a direct hire position. $55K – $65K annually. This position requires you to be on call 24/7. Must be willing to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, installation, retrofits, and servicing of equipment. Support production tasks and field operations as directed by management. Interact directly with clients to determine service needs and provide technical support. Train new employees and customer maintenance staff on equipment operation and servicing. Coordinate with internal and external teams, including sales and contractors. Lead and assist with install and rebuild planning, system updates, and troubleshooting guides. Complete administrative tasks, service reports, and documentation accurately and on time. Promote safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across job sites.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of technical experience OR 4 years of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree. Proven leadership as a maintenance supervisor or lead technician. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including welding, cutting, grinding, PLC calibration, and wiring. Ability to train, lead, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., travel extensively, and remain mobile on job sites. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Preferred Education:
Associate degree in a technical or mechanical discipline.
