JOB SUMMARY
The Field Service Technician will travel and provide technical support to our valued humidification and HVAC controls customers. This person would be responsible for supporting customers in technical presales and after-sales activities on adiabatic and isothermal humidifiers, and commercial/industrial HVAC systems. The successful candidate will have a strong HVAC background and solid knowledge of controls. Familiarity with automation protocols is a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Actively involved with design and implementation of complete control solutions with OEMs and contractors in the HVAC market, which would improve capital costs, energy efficiency and system performance. Supports commercial efforts such as but not limited to; technical training, installation, and commissioning, troubleshooting and/or general guidance to OEMs/Contractors involved with humidification installation and HVAC equipment. Participates in overall product strategy, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products and/or software based on application need and/or demand. Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities. When not traveling, it is expected to continue supporting customers through phone and email, as well as by providing continuous technical education to our customer base.

EXPERIENCE
- Mechanical and/or Electrical background with HVAC experience troubleshooting large systems; 4-5 years a significant plus.
Computer literacy required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Sufficient skills for technical letter writing required.
Good verbal skills sufficient to communicate to various levels in the industry.
REASONING ABILITY
- High degree of technical aptitude required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations HVAC, or ASHRAE certifications or registrations are a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The ability to stand 8+ hours a day. The ability to reach and bend. The ability to lift, pull, push. Dexterity is required. The employee must be able to work in a state of constant alertness and in a safe manner. Travel Ability is 75%. Availability Monday-Sunday
