Tool & Equipment Coordinator (Full-Time) 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 1001 Cedar Street, Brunswick, GA 31520 D&D Decorators is hiring a Tool & Equipment Coordinator to oversee our tool room operations and keep our team running efficiently in the field. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily check-in/check-out of tools and equipment for field crews Tag and track all tools using an inventory control system – Excel Inspect tools for damage or wear; report and tag out unsafe equipment Perform basic repairs and maintenance (especially small engine tools like pressure washers, sprayers, etc.) Monitor and reorder tool supplies and consumables Keep the tool room clean, organized, and well-stocked Work closely with Project Managers to prepare tools for upcoming jobs Maintain service logs and warranties for all company equipment Occasionally assist with light vehicle or trailer inspections (if applicable)
What We’re Looking For:
Strong mechanical aptitude — you know your way around small engines and hand tools Experience with inventory systems (or willingness to learn) Reliable, organized, and able to enforce accountability Comfortable working independently and solving problems on the fly Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required Prior experience in construction, warehouse, or maintenance environments is a bonus Why Join D&D Decorators?
