Are you looking to expand your skills and experience internationally? Would you be excited to train on company specific machinery in Europe and servicing clients in the US ? Looking for a candidate with Pipe Extrusion Line or Plastics experience, PLC knowledge, electrical, mechanical, and self-motivated – This position consists of repairing and maintaining company specific machinery, new equipment installations, and client relationships. The qualified candidate will be a full journeyman in Machine Repair, Plant Mechanic, or Millright, must be proficient in reading mechanical/electrical prints, pneumatic schematics, and hydraulic schematics, proficient in pipe fitting skills of air, water, hydraulics, and must have good attendance record.

salary:

$60,000 – $80,000 per year

work hours: 9 AM – 6 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Field Service Technician provides industrial technical services for commissioning, maintaining, and repairing of Company proprietary equipment typically installed at a customer facility. The duties include installation, troubleshooting and repairs as needed. The expectation is to provide excellent customer service. The candidate must be able to collaborate with a team, travel to remote sites, and adapt to a variety of work environments to quickly identify and solve problems. Install new equipment on a new extrusion line at a plant Verifying installation of equipment (done by customer per Sica plans)
o Verifying power availability before energizing equipment.
o Inspecting proper functioning of equipment prior to energizing (pneumatic, mechanical,electrical, hydraulic), and any damages during transit/shipping. Run equipment in production with customer to verify requirements. o Perform training as needed for operators and maintenance team. o Troubleshoot existing equipment to return to working conditions o Collaborate with customer on integration with other line components as needed o Perform routine maintenance, upgrades or recommend potential improvements.o Perform routine maintenance, upgrades or recommend potential improvements. Document visits (customer visit reports, work done report, expense reports), technical description of issues, work done, to support customer as needed. The essential functions of this role include:
