Lead Water Mitigation Technician 911 Flood Warriors Snellville, GA 30078 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Water Mitigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating heavy extraction and drying equipment. As a Lead Water Technician, you will be responsible for documentation Q&A, team management, estimate writing, work authorization receipt, project management from start of work to completion, and inventory cleaning and monitoring, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Psychrometric documentation is mandatory. This role includes evening/overnight on-call work. This role requires analytical skills to troubleshoot issues effectively and the ability to work with various equipment. Duties Operate and maintain heavy equipment used in water mitigation and remediation. Perform pre and post trip inspections on water vehicles and equipment to ensure functionality. Analyze data collected from job sites to identify areas for improvement or equipment manipulation needs. Identify a water loss. Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Document maintenance activities and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes. Equipment setting and monitoring. Perform flood cuts as necessary. Ability to use power tools. Experience IICRC certifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment operations. Familiarity with heavy extraction equipment operation, particularly in water mitigation contexts. Experience in psychrometric collection and analysis related to water remediation is preferred. Understanding of psychrometrics is required for a Lead Technician. Previous experience in similar roles or industries will be beneficial for success in this position. Carpentry, water mitigation, construction, or plumbing background a plus.
