Water Mitigation Technician 911 Flood Warriors Snellville, GA 30078 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment. As a Water Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing water systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Psychrometric documentation is mandatory. This role includes evening/overnight on-call work. This role requires analytical skills to troubleshoot issues effectively and the ability to work with various equipment, including tankers and logic controllers. Duties Operate and maintain heavy equipment used in water management and distribution. Perform pre and post trip inspections on water systems to ensure functionality. Analyze data collected from water systems to identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs. Identify a water loss. Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Document maintenance activities and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes. Equipment setting and monitoring. Perform flood cuts as necessary. Ability to use power tools. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, particularly in water management contexts. Experience in data collection and analysis related to water systems is preferred. Understanding of psychrometrics is a plus, enhancing troubleshooting capabilities. Previous experience in similar roles or industries will be beneficial for success in this position.
