Field Service Technician Position Available In Paulding, Georgia

Field Service Technician K&S Technical Services, Inc Hiram, GA 30141 Field Service Technician Job Description Employee is responsible for performing electrical meter installations, electrical meter change-outs, connects, disconnects, and meter reads along with minor maintenance/service work for member/consumer in a safe, courteous manner. The employee will also be responsible for making visual inspections of all surroundings while at a site and reporting any hazardous or unsafe equipment or conditions to the proper personnel. Employee will troubleshoot faulty or defective equipment at times to determine a resolution for the issue.

Education and Experience necessary:

Must have a High School diploma/equivalent. Any electrical course or training is a plus. Have basic knowledge for operating Ipad tablets, voltage/Ohm meters, GPS devices. Must have and be able to use basic hand tools. Must be able to use and/or wear the necessary protective equipment/clothing provided by the employer. Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to pass required drug screens. A background check will be performed. This position is outside work in the field on a daily basis. Must be able to communicate professionally with customers. Employee may have to contend with animals from time to time. This position has paid time off, paid holidays, and a company issued vehicle.
