The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of low voltage systems and have the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various equipment. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills, as you will be working directly with clients to ensure their systems are functioning optimally. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, and telecommunications equipment. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts. Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for testing and troubleshooting equipment. Provide field service support to clients, addressing any issues that arise with their systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on installed systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed. Requirements Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Familiarity with computer networking principles is highly desirable. Experience in equipment repair and field service operations. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Proficient in using testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driver’s license may be required for travel to job sites.
