The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing various types of rotating engines, including diesel generator engines and natural gas compressors. This role requires proficiency with both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will be interacting with clients to provide updates on repairs and maintenance. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs diesel generators and natural gas equipment Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and recommendations. Requirements Proven experience as a Generator Mechanic, preferably in an offshore environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in generator repair and maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to read schematics is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
