Pump Technician Position Available In St. John the Baptist, Louisiana

Pump Technician Confidential Laplace, LA Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pump Technician to join our team. Qualified candidates are needed to perform maintenance, repair and installation of pumps, motors, control panels and other equipment in the field. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Construction experience a plus. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must have transportation and the ability to travel to jobsites within a 75 mile radius. Must be able to pass background screen, pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing during employment. Must be able to pass required job safety certifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pump systems, electrical systems and troubleshooting, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment equipment. Assess equipment failures and make repairs as needed in the field. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during each visit. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Skills Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of basic mechanical and electrical functions. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
