Marine Field Service Diesel Technician III Hours:

On-call required; 14 days on and 7 days off ; Expect to work 12-16 hours/day.

OT:

Guaranteed 48 hours weekly, regardless of workload.

Hiring Bonus:

• after first 6 weeks Techs must be available anytime, day or night, with the ability to be to the shop within 30-60 minutes.

Techs will take drive their own vehicle to the shop and then ride with another tech to the job site in a service truck. Only senior level technicians are allowed to have work vehicles. A sea trial must be done after every repair, so candidates must be open to sea trials. Initially, all travel will be within 2 hours of the shop, east and west along the gulf coast following where the ship is at. As technicians become more advanced, further travel and eventually even international travel is possible (higher level), so a TWIC card and passport are a plus, but not required. Interviews will consist of a phone screen with the recruiter. If selected to move on, candidates will then participate in a 90 minute video interview with the hiring team.
