We are hiring a Field Service Technician III on behalf of our client, a leading provider of advanced control and monitoring systems. This position requires a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical systems and troubleshooting. You’ll work independently in the field, supporting both proprietary and third-party systems across a variety of challenging industrial and marine environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install,mission, and support control and monitoring systems at client sites.
Troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose, and repair generatorponents including breakers, shutdown switches, alternators, battery systems, and wiring harnesses.
Perform root cause analysis and repairs involving low, medium, and high-voltage systems.
Independently handle electrical maintenance and field estimations.
Support cost control initiatives and contribute to service quotes and parts sales.
Provide clear technical support to clients in high-security or high-risk environments.
Offer guidance and mentoring to Field Service Technician I and II team members.
Participate in an on-call rotation based on client needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Technical certification or degree in electronics, automation, or a related field (preferred).
Strong verbal and writtenmunication skills.
Solid experience in electrical systems, hardware troubleshooting, and network diagnostics.
Prior experience with PLC systems (required).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel regionally, including occasional extended trips.
Experience in marine, offshore, or shipyard environments is a plus (training provided).
FCC license and/or relevant software development background are advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent decision-making abilities.

Pay Details:

$30.00 to $40.00 per hour
