Field Service Technician Position Available In Terrebonne, Louisiana

We are hiring a

• Field Service Technician III
• on behalf of our client, a leading provider of advanced control and monitoring systems. This position requires a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical systems and troubleshooting. You’ll work independently in the field, supporting both proprietary and third-party systems across a variety of challenging industrial and marine environments.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Install, commission, and support control and monitoring systems at client sites.

+ Troubleshoot, inspect, diagnose, and repair generator components including breakers, shutdown switches, alternators, battery systems, and wiring harnesses. + Perform root cause analysis and repairs involving low, medium, and high-voltage systems. + Independently handle electrical maintenance and field estimations. + Support cost control initiatives and contribute to service quotes and parts sales. + Provide clear technical support to clients in high-security or high-risk environments. + Offer guidance and mentoring to Field Service Technician I and II team members. + Participate in an on-call rotation based on client needs.

• Qualifications & Requirements:

• + Technical certification or degree in electronics, automation, or a related field (preferred).

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Solid experience in electrical systems, hardware troubleshooting, and network diagnostics. + Prior experience with PLC systems (required). + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. + Willingness to travel regionally, including occasional extended trips. + Experience in marine, offshore, or shipyard environments is a plus (training provided). + FCC license and/or relevant software development background are advantageous. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent decision-making abilities.

• Pay Details:

• $30.
