The Field Service Technician works independently, traveling to customers homes and businesses, providing rust prevention services. This position requires a significant amount of driving (we serve Waterville south and most of NH), we provide the vehicle, fuel, and tolls. The Field Tech will provide on-site customer service, setup, perform the service, and break down. The service includes elevating a vehicle and climbing under the vehicle to use a compressed air undercoating applicator to spray Fluid Film on a vehicle. You would be responsible for providing an outstanding level of service, collecting payment, and using our computer system to document your work. This position is not for the person who wants to stay clean all day. Techs will get grease on them, however, we provide all PPE, such as; coveralls, gloves, masks, respirators, and an annual boot allowance. (We’re even working on a shop space with a shower!) Minimum Requirements Basic working knowledge of many types of vehicles Proven ability to work independently Demonstrated history of safe driving and valid Class C drivers license, ability to drive standard is a preferred Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language Basic comfort with electronics and technology Reliable and on-time to work and customers homes Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Schedule Full Time applicants will be prioritized. Part Time or Per Diem applicants are encouraged to apply. Typically, technicians work a Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 5pm schedule. We work rain or shine, and provide appropriate gear for weather conditions. Hours may change based on sunlight hours/seasons. There is some variability, including some weekend hours. Overtime opportunities available. All jobs are scheduled in advance, no emergency or on call hours.
