Job Title:

Field Service Technician – Full Line Equipment Support Position Summary This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of full-line equipment solutions. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve customer equipment issues while supporting long-term service reliability. This role also serves as a primary point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver on-site technical assistance for troubleshooting and equipment repairs within agreed timelines. Perform installation of new equipment and solutions at customer sites, ensuring functionality aligns with specifications and scope. Maintain ongoing communication with logistics and service management to provide status updates and receive new assignments. Consistently meet quality and quantity standards of technical work; listen attentively and ask clarifying questions when needed. Complete service reports using a CRM system within 24 hours of job completion. Arrange travel in accordance with company policy, balancing cost-efficiency and timeliness. Submit accurate weekly expense reports, adhering to expense policies. Offer recommendations for future service needs and parts, and ensure end-user comfort with operational and safety procedures prior to site departure. Required Skills and Abilities Strong skills in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical systems, and machine shop techniques. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently. Capability to perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electronic, and operational components. Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including schematics and procedure manuals. Competence in technical report writing and verbal communication with customers or internal teams. Proficiency in basic mathematical concepts and applied problem-solving. Familiarity with Microsoft Office; CRM/database knowledge preferred (Salesforce experience a plus). Education and Experience Associate degree or technical school certification in electrical/mechanical maintenance or related field. Minimum of 3 years in field service, packaging, or maintenance; 5 years preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a passport. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within North America and internationally as needed. Ability to work outside of standard business hours and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Non-Exempt Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position requires frequent travel and physical activity including standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds or more on occasion. It may involve exposure to loud noise, varying temperatures, and confined spaces. Personal protective equipment may be required depending on the site.
