The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in field service, particularly in the installation of low voltage systems. This role involves working with various hand tools and equipment to ensure the successful setup and maintenance of gate operator and access control systems. The Gate Operator Installation and Service Technician will also be responsible for communicating with clients and team members to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise during installation. Duties Install, program, commission, and troubleshoot gate operator and access control systems. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment for installations. Collaborate and maintain rapport with clients by examining service requests, identifying solutions, and recommending system improvements. Conduct field service visits to assess system performance and implement necessary repairs or upgrades. Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and customer interactions. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all installation processes. Provide training to clients on system operation as needed. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in installation or field service roles. Prior experience with low-voltage systems is preferred. Ability to understand and read blueprints and schematics. Excellent communication skills with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Current driver’s license. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
