Gaskets Rock of Central Carolinas specializes in replacing commercial refrigeration gaskets for restaurants, hotels, Hospitals, schools, and theme parks. We serve an existing base of customers with reliable, professional service. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Field Installation Tech to handle gasket installation and light repairs in the field.
Job Description:
As a Field Installation Tech, you’ll visit customer locations, remove worn refrigeration gaskets, and install new ones. This is a hands-on, field-based position ideal for someone who’s dependable, efficient, and takes pride in quality workmanship. This role offers flexible hours and can be full-time or part-time based on your availability. Occasional light sales may be involved, such as upselling a service or identifying opportunities for add-on work at existing customer sites.
Responsibilities:
Travel to customer sites and install commercial refrigeration gaskets. Perform light repairs and adjustments on refrigerator doors or hinges as needed. Communicate clearly with customers and report service completion to the managing partner. Identify opportunities for additional sales or services while on-site (light sales as needed). Follow safety protocols and ensure high-quality work on every job.
Requirements:
Must have your own tools and reliable vehicle. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and use hand tools comfortably. Basic mechanical aptitude (experience with tools or repairs is a plus). High attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Customer service or restaurant/kitchen experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule:
Create your own schedule – Monday through Friday is suggested, but weekends are also an option if that works better for you. Full-time or part-time availability accepted.
