Field Service Technician Archway Service Raleigh, NC 27629 Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Technician to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in technical services within an industrial environment. The Entry Level Technician will be responsible for supporting various maintenance and service tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment and systems while providing excellent customer service. Duties Assist in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, utilizing precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. Support field service operations, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site. Interpret and work with schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures. Collaborate with senior technicians to learn welding techniques and other essential skills. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Operate scissor lifts safely when required for various maintenance tasks. Document all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking purposes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus. Basic understanding of industrial maintenance principles; experience with CMMS is desirable. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and schematics is preferred. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Willingness to learn new skills, including welding and technical sales support. Previous experience in field service or related roles is advantageous but not required. Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications relevant to the position.
