Contact customer representativeand ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service andrepairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, andresidential applications. These include but are not limited to wet(steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technicalmanuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modificationnotices, etc., to diagnose and repair equipment. Read and interpretblueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems,programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Exhibiteffective customer service skills by consistently communicatingwith the district staff and customers to ensure complete customersatisfaction. Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements withproper coding and obtain customer’s signature. Participate in ascheduled On-call rotation. Perform other duties as assigned. Whatwe look for 5 years of documented experience in FireSprinkler/Suppression industry Experience in reading andinterpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/productmanuals High School Diploma or equivalent required Must be willingto travel. Ability to follow verbal and written instructionsCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and movingequipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs. Able to work in unusual andsometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffoldingand high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawlspaces, above ceilings, etc. Ability to work flexible hoursincluding weekends to meet customer requirements Able toparticipate in an on-call rotation schedule Overnight travel willbe required Demonstrate a high level of customer service Maintaintruck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs Abilityto adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines andprocedures. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and anability to learn quickly Possess a valid driver’s license anddriving record that meets company requirements Able to pass apre-employment background and drug test Preferred NICET LevelII
