Field Service Technician Position Available In Merrimack, New Hampshire

• Job Description
• We are looking for candidates to install CO2 safety monitors on CO2 tanks.

Candidates will drive to customer locations such as restaurants, convenience stores, and other service industry locations to install these monitors onto already existing units. Candidates are expected to supply their own tools, ladder, and vehicle to drive throughout New Hampshire. There is a sales aspect to the role, expectations are to sell 2 monitors to existing and new clients a week. The expectation being to gradually work your way up to sales a week.

• Pay:

  $22 + gas mileage reimbursement.

• Responsibilities
• + Follow all company safety and operational policies, procedures, and directives from the supervisor.

+ Maintain telephone communication with the supervisor and/or dispatch to communicate timely ETAs and completion of calls/work. + Perform installations of CO2 gas detection systems and associated cabling. + Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication. + Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly. + Use a ladder where necessary to run cabling. + Communicate and collaborate with other members of the field service team to resolve complex issues. + Verify current inventory levels versus install schedule and communicate deficiencies with the supervisor. + Maintain proper operation of all equipment, tools, ladders, etc. + Maintain sufficient inventory levels of all parts. + Provide daily communication to the assigned supervisor, including updates for each job completed and mileage start and end for the day.

• Essential Skills
• + Experience running network cabling.

+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret established technical procedures or governmental regulations. + Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. + Ability to communicate effectively install challenges verbally and by email to the supervisor. + Good verbal and written communication skills. + Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. + Basic Microsoft Office products computer skills. + Basic electronic knowledge. + Strong mechanical ability.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Mechanical aptitude/installation skills. + Service and troubleshooting experience. + Ability to work independently with their own tools and vehicle.

• Work Environment
• You will retrieve your inventory for the week from the facility in Concord, NH, and drive to various locations throughout the week to install these items.

• This is a Contract to hire position based out of Pembroke, New Hampshire.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
