Derry, NH Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect drinking water samples for small public water systems and residential clients filling out the appropriate chain of custody paperwork. Plan driving routes to efficiently service multiple clients and locations each day. Transport samples back to the primary laboratory and base of operations in Derry NH. Complete routine data collection and equipment checks for small public water system clients. Safe driving to and from job sites. Regularly communicate actions and information regarding public water system equipment conditions to direct manager. Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ): To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential Duties and Responsibilities section previously listed contains the knowledge, skills and abilities required to be successful in this job. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or bachelors degree in chemistry or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in the drinking water industry is preferred. Treatment installation, well and pump services, operational services etc. Valid driver’s license Clean driving record to drive company vehicle. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship A valid New Hampshire water works operator license or the ability to obtain one within one year. Ability to drive a motor vehicle for periods of up to 1 – 1.5 hours at a time. Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English. Ability to lift 50lbs, at time lift 70lbs Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to read maps and diagrams. Safely operating a motor vehicle. Ability to work independently. Ability to multitask and be flexible with daily schedules.
