The Field Service Technician Role:

You’ll be the face of Fraser in the field—bridging the gap between world-class service and customer satisfaction. Here’s what that looks like: Diagnose and repair machines quickly and efficiently using both your hands-on skill and AI-enhanced diagnostic tools to identify issues and prevent future breakdowns. Minimize callbacks and improve first-time fix rates by leveraging smart service alerts and predictive maintenance technology. Maintain strong communication and rapport with customers—ensuring positive feedback and building trust. Stay connected and productive with your company-provided laptop and smartphone—using real-time AI-driven service platforms to access bulletins, service histories, and remote tech support. Proactively attend training classes to stay sharp on product knowledge and emerging AI tools used in today’s business technology. Submit all paperwork (invoices, timesheets, inventory, etc.) accurately and on time, supported by automated reporting tools. Represent Fraser with pride and professionalism—from your appearance to your clean and well-maintained vehicle. Help achieve team goals by supporting other territories when needed while maintaining high service quality. Keep car stock organized and accurate, keeping inventory variances under 1.0%—with assistance from AI-supported parts tracking and optimization.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Tech school or military electronics experience preferred Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude Excellent communication (both verbal and written) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong customer service focus Able to lift/push/pull 30 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally Valid driver’s license; travel required ~90% of the time You’ll not only be fixing today’s tech—you’ll be working with the tools of tomorrow.
