Position Overview We’re seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our team, reporting to the Metrology Center Manager. In this role, you’ll calibrate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment for laboratory and manufacturing facilities, ensuring conformance to established calibration standards. Quantus Metrology Center Key Responsibilities Calibration & Preventive Maintenance Deliver technical expertise across diverse measurement equipment with emphasis on precision, quality, and detailed documentation Ensure prompt turnaround times while maintaining exceptional quality standards Calibrate temperature, humidity, pressure, digital multi-meters, timers, tachometers, torque, and specialized analytical equipment Service Coordination Support in-house calibration services for a wide range of precision instruments Help ship equipment requiring outsourced services (certified weights, dimensional equipment) with qualified vendors Assist customers outsourcing through our valued vendor service channels and provide updates throughout the process Logistics & Equipment Management Facilitate equipment exchanges with field technicians Ensure proper maintenance and certification of field equipment through internal resources and approved vendors Manage inbound and outbound shipments to customers and field personnel efficiently All Metrology Center Technicians share shipping and receiving of Customer Equipment and other High Valued Assets. We work together to ensure equipment is received, matched to work orders, routed properly for service, packed, and shipped. Inventory Control & Procurement Conduct routine inventory reviews and coordinate with procurement teams Maintain adequate levels of consumables and billable materials Process procurement requests per quotes and work orders Communication & Collaboration Work closely with field technician personnel to diagnose instrumentation issues Provide technical support and guidance as needed Build strong internal and external relationships Compliance & Customer Service Adhere to Quantus SOPs, customer procedures, and industry best practices Go beyond daily tasks to support customers using our extensive knowledge base Contribute to enhancing customer calibration and maintenance programs

Requirements:

Qualifications Required Experience & Skills 1-3 years of experience in Life Sciences Services, metrology, or related field Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email) and ability to learn custom database applications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Initiative, planning, and organizational skills Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing) Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass drug and background screening Willingness to adapt to new challenges as the company grows

Schedule & Location Schedule:

Monday to Friday, no weekends

Blue Bell, PA (in-person)

Travel:

Minimal local/regional travel as needed

Compensation & Benefits Salary:

$42,000 – $48,000 per year
