Job Description
The Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing Point of Use (bottle-less water cooler) filtration systems and office coffee equipment. Professional training for this technical role is provided through on-the-job training.

Bethlehem, PA

Compensation:

$25.30 / hour

Schedule:

Monday•Friday

Start Time:

Between 6 am•7 am until workload completed

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installations, make repairs, troubleshoot, and maintain plumbed-in Point Of Use equipment (Water•Filtration) and office coffee brewing equipment
Adhere to field service standards and procedures
Ensure all work is performed to our quality standards and meets the customer’s expectations
Be courteous, outgoing, and always maintain a professional image
Monitor the competitive environment to understand and leverage sales opportunities
Upsell additional products and services to existing customers and achieve monthly customer acquisition goals
Meet pre-established productivity targets
Maintain and organize tools, equipment, parts (Direct Division Materials), and truck inventory
Responsible for providing feedback regarding equipment and parts to help drive supplier improvement
Support our Direct division sales teams with customer site assessments and system installations
Record service activities and other data in the hand-held compute
Qualifications
What you need to have
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Previous experience working with Point Of Use equipment and/ or Office Coffee brewer equipment, and or other related product lines is preferred
Prior HVAC experience, plumbing experience, water filtration, and/or auto mechanical technical experience is strongly preferred but not required
No driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation, no disqualifying offenses, no more than 2 moving violations
No major driving offenses including DUI/DWI, reckless driving, refusal to test, leaving the scene, driving a commercial vehicle without a CDL, or at-fault fatal incident
Be an articulate verbal communicator
Possess strong organizational skills and a customer centric focus
Display a high degree of initiative combined with a commitment to high quality work standards
Be technically inclined and detail oriented
Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
