Water and Fire Restoration Technician – WRT ASJ Emergency Restoration & Cleaning 498 Poplar Street, Hanover, PA 17331 ASJ is now hiring a lead restoration technicians who will help perform emergency water remediation to homes & businesses. Experience is required. We are seeking exceptional, positive-thinking team players to join our team! Having WRT, FSRT, AMRT, or any construction experience is a plus. ASJ will send devoted employees for training. The more you learn, the more you can make. Will be on call 1 week a month, on-call bonus for after-hours and weekend emergency jobs. Lead Job Description:

A WRT Lead, or Lead Water Mitigation Technician, is a crucial role in water damage restoration companies. They are responsible for overseeing water mitigation projects, ensuring smooth operations, and providing support and expertise to their team and clients.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Project Coordination and Oversight:

Managing and coordinating all water mitigation tasks, ensuring they are completed efficiently and meet quality standards.

Client Communication:

Acting as the main point of contact for clients, updating them on the project progress, and addressing any concerns or issues.

Team Leadership:

Leading, guiding, training, and supervising team members, ensuring they understand and follow proper procedures and safety protocols.

On-site Responsibilities:

Performing water extraction, setting up and monitoring drying equipment, and conducting moisture readings. Documenting the extent of the damage with photos and moisture readings. Identifying potential hazards like electrical issues, structural problems, or mold. Noting any pre-existing damages before starting work. Maintaining and caring for company equipment.

Emergency Response:

Participating in an on-call schedule to respond to water emergencies, often working odd hours and weekends.

Documentation:

Keeping detailed records of the project progress for insurance claims and future reference.

Safety:

Ensuring a safe working environment by following and enforcing all safety procedures on the job site.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in water mitigation.

IICRC WRT

certification is often a requirement or a plus. Knowledge of water mitigation and dry-down processes. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members. Leadership abilities to guide and motivate the team. Ability to lift at least 75 pounds and work in confined spaces. Carpentry skills can be beneficial. Must pass a background check and have a good driving record. In essence, the WRT Lead acts as a leader and technical expert on the job site, ensuring projects are completed effectively, safely, and to the client’s satisfaction.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract Pay:

$18.00 – $24.00 per hour
