Responsibilities Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures Works closely with Service Center Manager, Field Services Manager and Belting Supervisor in attaining goals and objectives Good understanding of overall Quality process and documentation. Communicate general and quality-related concerns to management. Provide on-going customer service support with key accounts Create and maintain safe work instructions for belt production Understands and can apply the following: OSHA standards applicable to the industry MSHA standards as applicable Belt Construction Tool identification Equipment Operation Install conveyor belts; basic rigging Installation of LW and HW fasteners Fabric splicing, cutting down and vulcanizing of conveyor belts Maintain safety compliance at all times in the workplace; Maintain 100% compliance to completion of all safety/business training as assigned; Able to pass DOT certification Capable of continuous learning Skills and Abilities Ability to work overtime hours and weekend work when required Ability to travel to out-of-town jobs
Safety Compliance:
Associates in this position must be extremely passionate about safety and willing to comply and promote all related safety procedures and policies. Possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers, and team-members in a professional manner Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools. Basic computer skills including; MS Word, Excel, internet and email. Qualifications Prior experience in conveyor belt fabrication, operating a belt slitter and performing field service of conveyor belt and conveyor maintenance preferred. High school diploma required Mechanically inclined; demonstrates and applies knowledge to maintenance and repair of belting machinery; A valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record are required.
