Key Responsibilities:
Clean evaporators, condensers, and motor rooms to ensure optimal performance of refrigeration systems. Vacuum dust out of the motor rooms and de-grease equipment as needed. Scrape and coat drain pans to prevent clogs and water damage. Replace mechanical clamps (kush clamps) and clean up oil spills. Return used oil to recycling center and pick up PM materials from supply houses. Assist with other maintenance tasks as assigned and learn new skills on the job. Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks. Contribute positively to a collaborative work environment and communicate effectively within the team. Must be organized, plan and coordinate work ahead of time. Responsible for operating a company vehicle and will be responsible for operating it properly. Treat clients with the highest respect and work to develop a partnership environment. Attention to detail and handle every client request with professionalism. Weld and braze with an open flame. Handle hazardous chemicals. Drive a company vehicle safely to customer locations. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Required to possess EPA Universal certification. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. No prior experience required; willingness to learn and follow instructions. Basic understanding of mechanical systems and tools. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work outdoors in difficult conditions, including adverse weather.
Schedule:
A technician’s typical workday Monday
- Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm Work on an Overtime basis as needed.
