Non-Exempt Summary of the Role Seeking anentry-level Conveyor Belting Technician who in is mechanicallyinclined. Performs splices and installation on various types ofconveyor belts and components to meet customer and industryrequirements. Performs other field service and warehouse tasks, astrained and required. Reports to Field Service Supervisor orManager. Responsibilities Must maintain 100% commitment to safetypolicies and procedures Works closely with Field ServiceSupervisors and team members in attaining goals and objectives Goodunderstanding of overall Quality process and documentation;Communicate general and quality-related concerns to management;Provide onsite customer service Perform conveyor belt installationwith mechanical or vulcanized splice Understands tools andmachinery applicable to the job Travel is required part of jobSkills and Abilities Must be able to work overtime hours, eveningand weekends, when required Must be able travel to out-of-townjobs, as needed Possess excellent customer service skills and theability to interact with customers, and team-members in aprofessional manner Basic mechanical skills including the use ofhand tools. Basic computer skills including; internet and email.

Must be able to apply OSHA standards applicable and MSHA standardsas applicable (training will be provided) Minimum Qualifications Beat least 21 years of age Have a valid driver’s license andacceptable motor vehicle record Have a high school diploma/GEDReliable transportation is a must Be able to work independentlyAbility to safely drive a Company truck Ability to see in colorAbility to work overtime, as required Ability to pull, push, grasp,bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently on a repeated basisAbility to consistently move physically about worksite during thefull workday Ability to read and interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and proceduremanuals Basic math skills Properly measure with a tape measureAbility to travel on regular basis Background checks and drugscreening may be required (by Company, Customer or DOT requirementsin working on-site and operating equipment as required or permittedby law) Preferred Qualifications Experience working with conveyorsand conveyor components Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or anequivalent number of years of education and production maintenanceexperience Mechanically inclined Knowledge of maintenance andrepair of machinery a plus OSHA 10 and MSHA certifications Firstaid and CPR certifications Total Rewards Competitive compensationplan, with a bonus potential
