Job Description
Primary Responsibilities Key TasksInventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
Inventory and load the vehicle for the days work assignments.
Clean and organize the work vehicle.
Clean air movers.
Clean dehumidifiers.
Clean air filtration devices.
Clean extraction equipment, tools, and accessories.
Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
Manipulate and protect contents.
Establish a staging area for extraction, containment building, demolition, cleaning, and drying.
Prepare a room for demolition activitiesPerform restoration processes as directed.
Set up containment and other engineering controls.
Set up air filtration devices (including establishing negative pressure).Verify sufficient negative pressure.
Extract water from hard surface flooring and carpet.
Manipulate and block furniture.
Remove carpet pad.
Remove carpet.
Remove baseboard.
Remove drywall from wall.
Remove drywall from ceiling.
Remove insulation.
Remove cabinets.
Remove vinyl flooring.
Remove hardwood, laminate, and other plank flooring.
Remove tile flooring.
Vacuum surfaces with HEPA vacuum.
Damp wipe (wet clean) surfaces.
Apply EPA-registered disinfectants.
Position and turn on drying equipment.
Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all timesIdentify safety hazards.
Communicate safety hazards to Restoration Supervisor.
Report an incident or injury.
Communicate with Restoration Supervisor and other technicians to maintain efficient restoration processes.
Provide information to co-workers to assist with the overall flow of work tasks and activities.
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.
Bag and remove all debris, trash, and used consumables.
Route cords and drain hoses to minimize trip hazards.
Secondary Responsibilities Key TasksMaintain an organized warehouse space. Clean and maintain the warehouse, office, and grounds, as assigned.
Place equipment in previously defined areas.
Place any “out of service” equipment in a previously defined area.
Sweep warehouse floor.
Clean bathrooms and breakroom.
Clean office space.
Continued development of restoration expertise.
Complete assigned training in a timely manner.
Follow up with supervisor to verify proficiency in training material.
Other tasks/duties as required by employerHandle business related recurring or unique task, as necessary.
