The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry, specifically in water damage restoration, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement. As a Restoration Technician, you will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by various types of damage, ensuring that they are cleaned, repaired, and returned to their original condition. Duties Assess and evaluate damage to properties caused by water, fire, or other disasters. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform restoration tasks effectively. Execute water damage restoration processes including extraction, drying, and dehumidification. Conduct fire restoration activities such as smoke removal and structural cleaning. Perform asbestos abatement procedures following safety regulations and guidelines. Clean carpets and other surfaces as part of the restoration process. Build and repair structures as needed to restore properties to their pre-damage condition. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout all projects. Communicate with clients regarding the status of their restoration projects and provide excellent customer service. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the restoration industry. Strong knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and equipment. Familiarity with fire restoration processes and best practices. Experience with asbestos abatement procedures is a plus. Ability to clean various surfaces effectively, including carpets and upholstery. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in restoring properties.
