Position Overview:

The Field Service Technician position is a key role in the Lottery Services division responsible for delivering quality service and maintenance of lottery equipment at retailer locations. The Field Service Technician performs routine equipment and systems maintenance, repairs, installation and delivery of supplies of lottery equipment and communication devices.

Essential Functions:

Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified “zone” to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices. Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining Lottery equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner. Maintain equipment to promote continuous operation of IGT equipment. Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to restore it to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning it, and/or minor adjusting the malfunctioning component. Communicate effectively and efficiently with Dispatchers. Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times, problems, details, and resolutions of failures to Lottery platform. Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, ribbons, bet slips, etc., and track inventory of these items. Deliver basic training to new Retailers or refresher/remedial training to Retailers performing procedures incorrectly, such as changing paper and ribbon. Complete basic forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for procedure improvements, etc. Complete driver training and follow TCSi vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle. Produce various reports as required or requested by management Because You Matter TCSi employees receive the following employment benefits (all benefits mentioned are subject to policy and eligibility requirements): Company vehicle to take home for work use only (Field Services only) Company-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability 401K with employer match Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or GED 2+ years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience Technical or I.T.-related training or education is a plus Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledgeable in electronics, data communications, or related areas of expertise. Must be able to climb, lift, and carry equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to sit and drive for prolonged periods. Demonstrate dexterity when working with tools, moving parts, and electrical current. May work at heights to install equipment, work in close quarters and/or; be exposed to inclement weather during some installations. Physical Requirements and Working Environment Must be able to carry and lift up to 50lbs.
