Job Description Overview:

Delta Demo Group is seeking a dependable and experienced Equipment Service Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy and non-heavy equipment, vehicles, and trailers. This role supports both in-shop and field service work, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for use across all job sites. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, proactive, and communicates well with the team to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Duties Preventative Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform regular inspections, service, and repairs on a wide range of equipment including Brokks, excavators, skid steers, concrete saws, trailers, and company vehicles.

Field and Shop Work:

Service equipment both in the maintenance shop and on job sites as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Safety and Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop while keeping safety a top priority in all tasks.

Communication and Coordination:

Work closely with project teams to ensure equipment is ready and available for upcoming jobs.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose mechanical issues early and perform necessary repairs to avoid equipment downtime and major failures.

Team Collaboration:

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all Delta Demo Group employees; support a collaborative team culture. Requirements Prior experience working with diesel and heavy construction equipment. Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills. Must pass a background check and DOT-compliant drug screening. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
