The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks. Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics. Conduct routine inspections to identify issues that require attention and address them promptly. Assist in the installation of fixtures, appliances, and other equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Document completed work and report any additional repairs or maintenance needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects when necessary. Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
