West Palm Beach, FL The Opportunity Installer/Assessor Position Outline An Installer/Assessor is responsible for performing a variety of installs, retrofits and light construction tasks for residences. This position is great for contractors looking for extra work and is paid per job or proficient individuals with schedule flexibility to complete the assigned jobs. Key Responsibilities- Constructing ramps and builds that aid in home accessibility for clients Conducting assessments: Performing walk-through assessments to identify repair needs and prepare cost estimates.
Handling emergency repairs:
Addressing urgent repair tasks as needed.
Coordinating with clients:
Communicating with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on repair progress.
Using tools and equipment:
Operating hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
Maintaining records:
Keeping detailed records of completed tasks and any follow-up actions required.
Performing carpentry work:
Building or repairing structures such as decks, fences, and furniture.
General maintenance:
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, and dusting.
Installing fixtures:
