Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tenant Turnover Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing rental units for new tenants by performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This includes minor plumbing, electrical work, drywall repair, painting, and other general tasks to ensure units meet company and safety standards. Must be comfortable and respectful when going into Tenant Occupied Residences.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete unit turnovers in a timely and professional manner Perform minor plumbing repairs (e.g., fixing leaks, unclogging drains, replacing faucets/toilets) Handle basic electrical tasks (e.g., replacing outlets, light fixtures, switches) Patch, repair, and texture drywall as needed Paint interiors with attention to detail and cleanliness Prepare units for occupancy including appliance checks and minor replacements Install or repair hardware such as door locks, blinds, towel bars, etc. Communicate effectively with admin staff about unit conditions and needed repairs Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, tenant communications, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in maintenance, handyman services, or similar role Knowledge of residential plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Own basic tools; specialty tools provided as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
