Weekend Handy Man Green World School 1391 Fort Johnson Road, Charleston, SC 29412 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our school team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires a proactive individual who can tackle various projects, from minor repairs to larger maintenance tasks, while providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties. Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance person tasks as needed. Use tools and equipment effectively, including an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics. Assess issues and determine the best course of action for repairs or improvements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions. Document completed work and report any additional issues or recommendations to management. Substance Free Work place Experience Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools is essential. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry is required. Experience using an ohmmeter for electrical testing is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
