The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and equipment. As a Dismantler, you will play a crucial role in the disassembly of vehicles and machinery, ensuring that parts are efficiently removed and prepared for reuse or recycling. This position requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Responsibilities Disassemble vehicles and machinery using hand tools and power tools. Identify and remove reusable components while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct inspections of parts for quality assurance before removal. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Utilize an ohmmeter for testing electrical components as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Follow all company policies regarding equipment handling and waste disposal. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance or similar fields. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Previous experience in dismantling or recycling is a plus but not required.
