The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various tools and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our maintenance processes and maintaining high-quality standards in our fleet. The Technician will be responsible for assembling, building, and maintaining parts while adhering to safety protocols. Duties Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools to perform assembly and fiberlgass repair tasks. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment or parts as needed. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and organization. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials and products throughout the facility. Collaborate with team members to build and repair fiberglass, or perform other mechanical processes, according to specifications. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations. Skills Proficient in the use of power tools, hand tools, and machinery related to parts assembly and fiberglass repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aluminum Welding is a plus; certification may be required. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience as a Automotive Body Repair Technician or in Fiberglass Repair is advantageous and is preferred.
