ABOUT THE ROLE

Work as part of a team to ensure the uninterrupted operation of thefacility in order to maximize operational efficiency in anenvironment of continuous training and improvement; to providecustomer service, material handling, utility, maintenance,inspection and general labor in support of operations.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Perform required maintenance and welding as needed on equipmentand machines Support Coordinator, Supervisor and Manager in special projectsor tasks. Forklift capable to load and unload palletized materials. Operate mobile equipment; cement loading, shipping, types ofmobile equipment such asforklift/manlift/skidsteer/trackmobile/small crane Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives toresolve daily production difficulties. Perform inspections and provide documentation and reporting asrequired or as directed by the Supervisor. Store, stock and handle materials including but not limited tocement ensuring accurate deliveries. Understand and be able to work with Control Systems. Utilize computer systems to load trucks, receive product,maintain inventories, input manual bills of lading, process creditrebills and complete procurement requirements. Load bulk trucks, bulk rail cars, bulk bags and barges. Perform inventory measurements and reporting as required. Perform necessary tasks to ensure good housekeeping for a safeand efficient operation ensure the warehouse is safe and accessiblefor non-warehouse traffic. Report operational problems to the supervisor for action andparticipate in corrective actions. Perform any and all other duties as may be assigned. Work anyshifts, including nights, weekends and holidays as schedulesdictate. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving andadhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all workenvironments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibitthese behaviors.

Required Education:

GED Required Work Experience:

1-2 years

Licenses Preferred:
Valid Driver’s License Required Computer and Software Skills:

Basic computer skills

Travel Requirements:

Less than 10%

Additional Requirements:

Minimum of two years related experience in industrialoperations preferred.

Position also requires:

walking, climbing, bending, stoopingand heavy lifting. Knowledge in control system operation; mobile equipmentoperation; cement manufacturing equipment; somemechanical/electrical skills; good communication skills aredesired. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols andproper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment(“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Employees thatare required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where therespirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative andquantitative fit tests.
