Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild,replace and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment(i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.)

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete allrequired repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers,bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, work withbusiness partners on plan of action.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance withworkplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
• Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fullydocument equipment repair and parts used.
• Backup to other maintenance shop personnel.
• Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility andcertificates.

All Fleet Technicians, Drivers, Coordinators andManager.

  Vendor service providers when required.

• Onsite:

  The associate in this role is expected to performassigned responsibilities inside a US Foods maintenance facility.

• -MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have (3) years of verifiable hands-on experience as aheavy-duty commercial diesel mechanic.
• Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipmentrepairs.
• Successfully demonstrated independent analytical andproblem-solving skills.
• Prior experience in administering appropriate PM program.
• Must furnish own personal hand tools. (Quarterly tool allowanceprovided
