General Purpose of the Job We are seeking an experiencedHeavy Duty Diesel Mechanic with a minimum 2 years verifiableexperience in various diesel engines, hydraulic system andelectrical repairs. The primary responsibility is to ensure theoperational readiness of all truck and heavy equipment. The MobileMaintenance Mechanic is also responsible to ensure that all work iscompleted in a safe, efficient and timely manner and in compliancewith environmental requirements. Our ideal candidate would beReliable, Dependable, and able to work autonomously in a highstress environment.

Responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, generation of repairparts list and performing the repair to all company mobileequipment. Able to work as part of a team and individually toensure timely repairs through the use of computer diagnostic toolsand computer-based service and repair software. Able to dismantle,repair and install parts on various equipment. Must have experienceworking on large diesel engine equipment, gasoline engine pickupsas well as small gasoline engines, Trailers, and Heavy Equipment.
Responsible for performing thorough inspections of mobile equipmentwhile the machine is down for routine service or preventativemaintenance. Must have a working knowledge of hydraulic systems,the ability to read schematics, perform major welding repairs andperform repairs on mobile air conditioning systems. Responsible forreading and understanding assigned work orders and will reportconstructive feedback and specific details of repair Responsiblefor the housekeeping of the specific task as well as participate inthe housekeeping of the general mobile shop. Must furnish own handtools. Large and specialty tools will be provided. Clean drivingrecord required to drive Company’s Service Truck Strong mechanicalaptitude, knowledge and troubleshooting skills Maintain cleanlinessof Shop operations and adhere to all safety policies and proceduresShop Office and Clerical work required.
Experience, TechnicalKnowledge, and Certifications:
1-2 years of related experience.
Hands on experience with mobile equipment repair, maintenance, andtroubleshooting. Strong mechanical background with experience as askilled tradesperson is extremely helpful and necessary in mostinstances.
