(Outdoors, heat and cold) + Periodically perform duties safely 200′ above ground level + Follow all safety protocols and regulations + Comply with all safety regulations and adhere to company safety policies and procedures + Occasionally work in areas outside of your normal duties, when instructed by a supervisor Requirements to be successful in this position: + High school graduate or equivalent + Multiple years of Equipment Mechanic experience (hydraulic, ignition, air brakes, gas and diesel engines) + Experience working with forklifts or in a related field, or completion of a heavy equipment mechanic training program + Hand tools up to 1 1/8″ wrenches, sockets, ratchets, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. + Florida Class E Driver License or equivalate + Transportation Worker Identification Credential + Physical ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and see into small areas + Communication skills: Ability to communicate well with others +

Tools:

Familiarity with tools and equipment used to repair forklifts + Computer skills: Ability to use a computer + Reading skills: Ability to read repair manuals + Analytical skills: Ability to analyze problems and solve them + Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, to read, understand, and interpret technical manuals + Proficiency in the use of basic hand tools and precision measuring instruments
