Doganiero Construction a leading civil site construction company is looking to hire a skilled and reliable individual to diagnose, repair and maintain heavy equipment, including loaders, dozers, excavators, and other construction related equipment. Duties Diagnosing and repairing problems:
Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other system malfunctions on heavy equipment.
Performing Maintenance:
Conducting routine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, changing fluids and filters etc.
Repairing and Replacing Parts:
repairing and replacing worn or damaged components such as alternators, drive belts, chains, pins, and bushings, etc. Skills Proficient in heavy equipment operation with hands-on experience. Strong knowledge of brake repair techniques and procedures. Preferred, the ability to weld and some small to median fabrication, ability to safely operate mobile service truck crane. Familiarity with hand tools used in mechanical repair tasks. Experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance practices. Ability to align mechanical components accurately for optimal performance. Understanding of hydraulic systems and their applications in heavy machinery. Competence in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Knowledge of tire service procedures for various types of vehicles. Background in automotive repair is a plus. The ability to work well with others in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
