Hydraulic Hose Technician 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars Cartersville, GA A Hose Technician is a very important position at Mobile Hydraulics as it is the main service we provide to our customers and it will require you to be diligent and self-sufficient while maintaining the overall functionality of your company-provided Mobile Workshop as well as staying in constant communication with the Fleet Manager, Dispatcher, and all customers. As a Hose Technician, you have the opportunity to not only benefit the company but also profit yourself with our salary-based commission policy and paid after-hours calls. Hose Technicians are eligible to earn salary based commission once meeting their monthly quota and receive extra pay for all after-hours service calls. Mobile Hydraulics provides the majority of the material and tools for a Hose Technician to be successful, however, this role will require you to be self-motivated. This position requires all Hose Technicians to work in the elements and drive from one job location to the next. You are responsible for the upkeep of your designated MH Mobile Workshop and are required to keep it clean and orderly by washing it regularly, connecting with the Fleet Manager for regular maintenance, and working with the Truck Inventory Supervisor to ensure that your truck is fully stocked and all parts are put away in their proper place. It is the expectation for this position that you be able to identify different types of fittings, threads, hoses, adapters, and other related materials. Each job will require you to fill out the proper paperwork and submit it to the Accounts Administrator for billing, doing this promptly is not only required but will also assist you in meeting your quota and receiving commission pay. All Hose Technicians are required to participate in our after-hours on-call rotation and prospecting/soliciting for potential new jobs during regular business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Replicate hose assemblies for on-site customers.
• Manage the overall function of your designated MH Mobile Workshop and assist with the overall maintenance of your vehicle.
• Properly fill out paperwork.
• Collect payment information before leaving a job site.
• Remove and replace hose assemblies if necessary and ensure equipment is working properly.
• Prospect/solicit for new customers.
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation.
• Maintain the material and tools provided on company-provided vehicles.
• All specialty items and extra tools will need to be purchased by the Hose Technician.
• Guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Answer phone calls and emails during regular business hours and when on-call.
