ABOUT THE ROLE

All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rulesare followed and individual works as a team member. Operators aregiven primary responsibility of performing all plant tasks thatrequire the use of heavy mobile equipment. Utilizing Excavators,Loaders, Dozers, Haul trucks, and Motor Grader. Position requirestravel to all sites in the northern area of Colorado.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Using a computer or manual controls, effectively operatesprimary or secondary crushing or other plant equipment in order tomeet site production needs. Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safelyto designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all planttraffic controls. Performs walk-around pre-trip safety inspections. Identifiesany safety problems or concerns and report any unsafe conditions toSupervisor including near misses and any other areas where safetycan be improved. Performs maintenance activities to ensure haul truck ismaintained to the required standard and assist with other plantmaintenance activities as required including site housekeeping orclean up activities.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Required:

Prior experience operating haulage trucks or heavyequipment. 1-3 years experience

Valid Drivers License Additional Requirements:

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving andadhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all workenvironments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibitthese behaviors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols andproper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment(“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Subject toapplicable law, employees that are required to wear respiratorsmust be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face inorder to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
