Vending Machine Technician Abacus Service Corporation Atlanta, GA Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair, ensuring that our machinery operates efficiently and effectively. This role involves working with various tools and technologies, including ohmmeters and voltmeters, to diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner. Duties Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters. Repair and replace faulty components in machines as needed. Read and interpret schematics to understand machine layouts and systems. Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex problems. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service activities. Provide field service support as required, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution. Stay updated on new technologies and techniques related to machine maintenance. Requirements Proven experience as a Machine Technician or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters. Familiarity with computer hardware and networking is a plus. Previous experience in field service or as a service technician is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
