JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW:

• We are hiring an electromechanical Field Service Technician to join our team: As a Field Service electromechanical Technician, you will help clients install, repair and maintain equipment.
• You will be part of the service department, working closely with the sales team to meet customer needs.
• The ideal candidate has a strong technical and electro-mechanical background, but is also organized, structured, and customer-focused.
• This is an entry-level role perfect for someone with an technical education looking to grow their career.
• In this role, it is required that someone be self-motivated, a great learner, and one who takes initiative and can work without constant supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose errors or technical problems on in-house machines and determine proper solutions.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs and modifications on the mechanical, electrical, or software aspects of equipment at customer sites.
• Assist with start-up, checkout, installation and testing of new equipment.
• Advise customers on equipment use and best practices.
• Build strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional service.
• Learn a lot about the industry!

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Education:

Mechanical or Trade School background.

Technical Skills:

Ability to repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical machines (training provided).

Reading & Comprehension:

Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.

Tools & Equipment:

Experience using various mechanical, electrical and testing tools.

Experience:

Prior work with machine tool repairs (or similar) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 75 pounds.

• Must pass a basic mechanical and electrical assessment.
