We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Master Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety in our operations. This role requires extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with different types of equipment, including cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and scrapers. Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy equipment
Conduct preventative maintenance checks and services on various machinery
Utilize technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
Collaborate with operators to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Master Mechanic
Valid CDL License is preferred
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance practices
Experience with grading, utility work, and various types of heavy machinery
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
