The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems using schematics and technical manuals. Align, suspend, and fabricate components as needed to ensure optimal performance. Operate heavy machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct inspections on hydraulic systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. Assist Shop Manager with daily tasks. Drive Forklift Drive to Vendors to pick up and deliver heavy equipment. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in hydraulics pump repair Familiarity with schematics and ability to interpret technical drawings. Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
